Laboratory investigations were carried out to assess the toxicity of certain neem products and insecticides against the egg parasitoids, Trichogramma chilonis, T. japonicum and T. brasiliensis. The adult emergence and per cent parasitisation were greatly influenced by insecticides as compared to neem products which were relatively safer to these egg parasitoids. Adult emergence of T. chilonis was highly reduced by carbaryl (22.16%), while endosulfan was more toxic to the other two Trichogramma spp. and the per cent adult emergence was 30.17 and 19.83 in T. japonicum and T. brasiliensis, respectively.
