Larvicidal activity of chloroform and ethanolic extracts of Phyllanthus amarus against mosquito larvae (Anopheles stephensi) has been explored. LC50 values of the extracts have been calculated by probit analysis method. Ethanolic root extract has been found to be potent larvicidal agent against the target insect species.
