Observations were recorded on survival of adults and emergence of juvenile earthworms on 7,14,30,60 and 90 d after the treatment. It was found that phosphamidon was relatively safer to juveniles than adult earthworms. Phorate granules and carbosulfan (EC as well as SO) were relatively safer to adults than juvenile earthworms. Oxydemeton-methyl and monocrotophos were toxic to both adults as well as juvenile earthworms.
