Abstract

Neem cake applied @ 250 kg ha−1, as one of the IPM components especially against root-knot nematodes, at 25 days after transplanting prevented foraging by rabbits providing total prevention at a cost of Rs 1375 ha−1. In the Farmers’ practices (non-IPM) plots consisting of only chemical pesticide applications, 39.15% plants were damaged due to rabbits compared to only 6.84% in IPM plots.
