Abstract

The laboratory studies revealed abnormalities on different developmental stages of cabbage semilooper, Thysanoplusia orichalcea (Fabricius), when exposed to various concentrations of diflubenzuron and methoxyfenozide by dipping and ingestion methods. The treatments caused 52–82 and 68–100% reduction in normal population after larval exposure to diflubenzuron and methoxyfenozide, respectively, whereas population was reduced to 40–90 and 50–92% due to pupal treatment with these chemicals.
