Abstract

Dissipation of fenvalerate (0.01%), deltamethrin (0.0014%) and endosulfan (0.07%) on cowpea, Vigna unguiculata (Linnaeus) Walpers was studied during winter season, 2002–03. Initial deposits of fenvalerate, deltamethrin and endosulfan in/on pods were 4.12,0.035 and 3.50 µg g−1, which gradually dissipated to 0.12, 0.002 and 0.10 µg g−1on the 10th day with half life of 2.1,2.3 and 2.3 d, respectively. The waiting period for fenvalerate, deltamethrin and endosulfan on cowpea was 12, 2 and 1 d, respectively.
