An HPLC method for simultaneous estimation of carboxin and thiram in its formulations has been developed. The mobile phase was methanol: water (3:1) at flow rate 0.7 mL min−1 with RP-18 column and UV detection wavelength at 256 nm. Under these conditions, the retention time was 5.19 min for thiram and 6.67 min for carboxin. The method was tested for the analysis of these fungicides in treated wheat seeds. The limit of detection (LOD) was 0.1 u.g mL−1 and limit of quantitation (LOQ) of the method in wheat grains was 0.3 μ g−1.
