The seed cotton yield in case of Spinosad 45 SC with new A:D ratio @ 100 g ai ha−1 was highest (3001 kg ha−1). During 2005–06 season also significant differences were observed among various treatments tested, with untreated control recording the highest open boll damage (51.0%), loculi damage (21.14%) and recording lowest seed cotton yield (2114.8 kg ha−1). Spinosad 45 SC @ 67.5 g ai ha−1 (standard check) recorded 35.23% boll damage, 13.12% loculi damage and 3150.4 kg ha−1 seed yield. The insecticide E2Y 45 20 SC @ 30g ai ha−1 was also the most effective treatment recording lower boll damage (29.37%), loculi damage (11.16%) and highest seed cotton yield (3369.9 kg ha−1).
