Following application of Confidor 350 SC @ 26.25 and 52.50 g ai ha−1 and Confidor 70 WG @ 24.5 and 49.0 g ai ha−1 at fortnightly interval after 45 days of transplanting paddy, the residues of imidacloprid were found to be below its limit of determination in rice grain, straw, husk and soil at 0.01, 0.05, 0.05 and 0.01 mg kg−1, respectively, on both the dosages at harvest time.
