Abstract

Residues of fluzifop p-butyl applied at 125, 250 and 500 g ai ha−1 as post-emergence was studied. Soil and plant samples collected at harvest were analyzed for residues by HPLC. The retention time of fluazifop-p was found to be -3.60 minutes. The residue level of fluazifop-p in soil was found to be 0.051, 0.064 and 0.079 μg g−1 at 125, 250 and 500 g ai ha−1 application rates. Residues of fluazifop p-butyl were 0.472, 0.554 and 0.702 μg g−1 in soybean straw and 0.297, 0.300 and 0.312 μg g−1 in soybean grains at 125, 250 and 500 g ai ha−1, respectively.
