α-Hexachlorocyclohexane has been utilized for the preparation of a series of chloronitro-triaryl ethers. These compounds were screened for their fungicidal activity against Helminlhosporium oryzae and Fusarium solani. The preparation and fungitoxicity of these compounds along with the relationship of their structure to the bioactivity is being described.
