Abstract

Novaluron (10 EC), an insect growth regulator with novel mode of action, was evaluated @ 25, 37.5 and 50 g ai ha−1 for the control of Spodoptera litura (Fab.) in diffefent experiments in Bathinda, Ferozepur and Mansa districts on Bt cotton during 2005 and 2006 crop ssasons. Nuvaluuon @ 55 and 37.5 g ai ha−1 renderereffective control ol S. litura on cotton when compared to standard checks and can fit ideally in IPM strategies as a potential component thereby reducing dependence on conventional insecticides.
