The essential oil of Murraya koenigii Spreng leaf was extracted through hydro distillation in Clevenger apparatus and the yield was reported to be 0.2% (w/w). Oil extracted from the leaf was found to have larvicidal activity against 3rd and 4th instar larvae of Anopheles stephensi, the malarial parasite with LC50 of 15.96 ppm.
