Present investigation is on the effect of two organophosphorus pesticides viz. methyl parathion and phosphamidon on enzyme protease and acid phosphatase in bean, okra, guar and onion. Lower concentrations of the pesticides exhibited increase and higher concentrations exhibited decrease in the activities of both the enzymes.
