Lasioderma serricorne, is mainly a pest of tobacco, but could damage other stored products as well, and the flour beetle; Tribolium confusum, occurs generally in processed food grains between other commodities. Nine concentrations of spinosad, 50,100, 250, 400,550,700,850,1000 and 1200 ppm were used for bioassay. Concerning L.serricorne, LC50, was 609.34 mg(ai/L) after 24h and diminished to 272.5 mg(ai/L) after 72h of exposure and for T. confusum, LC50, was 343.05mg(ai/L) after 24 h and decreased to 182.92 mg(ai/L), after 72 h, of exposure.
