Abstract

Laboratory studies on comparison of different methods of insecticide residue analysis for their efficiency in pomegranate fruits were conducted during 2010 at the Pesticide Residue Analysis Laboratory, Department of Entomology, Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri Dist. Ahmednagar M.S. India. The studies revealed that the tested insecticides showed acceptable recovery by all three methods of insecticide residue analysis viz., CDFA, SRM and QuEChERS from fortified samples of pomegranate at 0.05 and 0.1μg g−1. CDFA method was best for imidacloprid and lambdacyhalothrin whereas SRM performed well for spinosad and fipronil.
