Abstract

Field studies during the rabi seasons of 2011 and 2012 revealed that novaluron 5.25 per cent + emamectin benzoate 0.9 per cent SC @750, 825 and 875 mL ha−1 against Spodoptera litura infesting cabbage was significantly superior in performance over control during both the years. The mixed formulation @ 825 and 875 mL ha−1 controlled tobacco caterpillar larvae up to harvesting period. It gave 100 per cent control from 5th day onwards after the second spray. The maximum yield was obtained @ 825 mL ha−1. Novaluron and emamectin benzoate showed additive action in mixture.
