Synthetic Insecticides for the Control of Spodoptera litura (Fabricius) Infesting Bidi Tobacco under Nursery Condition

Abstract

Among the synthetic insecticides tested, emamectin benzoate 5 SG (11 g a.i. ha−1) was most effective and economical in controlling the leaf eating caterpillar, Spodoptera litura infesting bidi tobacco seedlings.
