Results of field experiments conducted at Kalyani, Nadia, West Bengal during Rabi seasons of 2016-2017 and 2017-18 with some newer insecticides against cotton aphid and jassid are reported. Imidacloprid 17 per cent SL @ 150 mL ha−1 and diafenthiuron + acetamiprid @ 600 g ha−1 were significantly superior in controlling cotton aphid and recorded 95.00 and 93.97 per cent mortality respectively at 3 d after spraying. Diafenthiuron+ acetamiprid @ 500 and 600 g ha−1 was significantly superior in controlling cotton jassid, recording 91.46 and 92.73 per cent mortality respectively at 3 d after spraying.
