Need to Recognize the Contribution of Manuscript Reviewers in Improving the Quality of Published Works

The contribution of scientists, educationists and the other educated elite in improving the quality of published literature has been highlighted. This contribution, often gratis, goes mostly unrecognized by the various scientific, educational, and political and the other concerned bodies in the national systems. It is high time that this noble effort is duly recognized by one and all and suitably rewarded. The society needs to ensure that this highly qualified manpower, that believes in simplicity and prefers to maintain a low social profile, is duly appreciated and held in esteem.
