Abstract

A field experiment was carried out during Rabi season from 2020-23 at Agricultural Research Station, Kota to find out new molecules for the management of aphids in potato. Based on pooled data of three years, all the treatments significantly reduced aphid infestation compared to untreated plot. The maximum reduction (85.9%) was recorded with two foliar sprays at 14 days interval of flupyradifurone (200 SL) @ 0.1% at the initiation of aphid population. Maximum tuber yield in potato (20.4 t ha-1) and cost: benefit ratio (1.75) was recorded in the same treatment.
