A field trial on chilli was conducted to determine the bioefficacy of the combi-formulation of hexythiazox + diafenthiuron against yellow mite, Polyphagotarsonemus latus (Banks). Combi-formulation of hexythiazox + diafenthiuron was sprayed thrice at ten days interval at the recommended dose, 1.5 times and double of the recommended dose. The results revealed that the combi-formulation showed a superior efficacy in reducing the yellow mite population against standard check ethion and over untreated control. It also increased yield and IBCR compared to conventional insecticide ethion. In terms of reduction over control and IBCR, combiformulation of hexythiazox + diafenthiuron @ 591.5 g ai ha-1 (T3) (81.2% and 3.2:1, respectively) was most effective showing 3.5 per 3 leaves per plant population after 10 days after the third spray, but it was at par with the other two doses of combi-formulation of hexythiazox + diafenthiuron (T2) @ 443.6 g ai ha-1 (78.9% and 3.0:1, respectively) and (T1) @ 295.8 g ai ha-1 (75.7% and 3.0:1, respectively).
