Abstract

A novel method has been developed and validated for quantification of chlorantraniliprole in granule and deltamethrin in suspension concentrate formulation, using ultra-fast liquid chromatography method, with C18 (250 mm × 4.6 mm, 5 μm) column, mixture of acetonitrile: orthophosphoric acid (0.1% in water) (60: 40 v/v) as mobile phase for chlorantraniliprole and methanol: water (90: 10 v/v) for deltamethrin. The detection was carried out at 254 nm for chlorantraniliprole and at 230 nm for deltamethrin. The linearity range was ~400-664 mg kg-1. The mean recovery was found to be 100% for chlorantraniliprole and 102% for deltamethrin. This method is also useful for quantification of chlorantraniliprole and deltamethrin in combination formulated products.
