Abstract

When 80 and 160 g a.i./ha fenpropathrin was applied to chickpea at flowering and pod formation stages to control the pests of chickpea crop, the waiting periods was found to be 1 day for both the levels of the treatment with half life values for pods 3.0 day. At harvest the residues on straw were 0.14 and 0.16 ppm from normal and double dose respectively and corresponding values for grains were 0.10 and 0.14 ppm.
