Abstract

Persistence of mancozeb (@ 4.5 and 9.0 Kg a.i./ha) and myclobutanil (@ 0.2–0.4 Kg a.i./ha) was studied following foliar application on apple at two locations over two years. The residues of the two fungicides dissipated rapidly with mancozeb persisting longer on leaves than on fruits whereas, myclobutanil persisted longer on fruits. A waiting period of 30 days is recommended for the two fungicides on apple.
