Abstract

Fenamiphos (Nemacur 10G) applied at the rate of 1 and 2 kg a.i./ha to the soil in the betelvinc orchard at IIHR, translocated to leaves and maximum accumulation was attained on the 10th day. Fenamiphos residues dissipated at the half life of 6.0 to 6.6 days in leaves and required 36 and 45 days waiting periods for safe consumption of betel leaves. Maximum concentration of 5.10 to 9.49 ppm was found in soil as the initial deposits and the residues reduced with the half life of 8.06 and 8 66 days.
