Abstract

In biointensive integrated pest management the use of relatively selective pesticides is recommended. The research efforts in laboratory semi-field and field experiments have led to identification of relatively safer pesticides for important natural enemies of crop pests. The information generated in India is reviewed. The need for adopting standard test methods and suggestions for future work are provided.
