Abstract

Eleven camphor oxime ethers were synthesised and their bioactivity examined against termite workers, and mosquito adults and larvae. Eight molecules exhibited 100% mortality at 50 microgram cm−2 against the termite workers. Hundred per cent toxicity was provided by six compounds at 0.5 microgram cm−2 dose against mosquito adults. Nearly all the compounds revealed total kill of Aedes aegypti larvae at 50 ppm
