Abstract

Experiments were done to determine whether the high neurotoxicity of gamma HCH.on the silkworm was influenced by any of the other HCH isomers. The results showed that delta HCH delayed the onset of neurotoxic symptoms and reduced the degree of excitatory symptoms induced by gamma HCH, suggesting its neuro-depressant nature. Other HCH isomers were not effective in altering'the; neurotoxic action of gamma HCH.
