Abstract

The dissipation of mancozeb, applied at 0.2 and 0.4% concentrations, has been reported in bittergourd fruits before and after washing with water. A progressive decay of residues to non detectable level (<0.01 mg kg−1) occurred by the seventh day following the lower rate of application. A waiting period of 2 and 4 4 has been rerorted fof ththewer ana the higher doses, respectively.
