Abstract

1, 6-Diaryl-3-(1-napthyl/2-naphthyl)-2-thio imidazolo [5, 4-d] pyrazolines, synthesised by the cyclo-condensation of 1-aryl-5-arylidene-3-(1-naphthyl/2-naphthyl)-2-thio imidazolones with hydrazine hydrate have been found to possess mild to high antifungal activity against Rhizoc-tonia solani Fusarium oxysporum and Pyricularia oryzae
