Abstract

Piperonyl butoxide and profenofos, used to study the relative importance of mixed function oxidase and esterase route of metabolism respectively in the larvae and adults of Helicoverpa armigera employing a synthettc pyrethroid and two organophosphatess revealed that mixed function oxidases played a more important role in metabolizing insecticides in the pest populations collected from Cicer arietinum LL
