Abstract

Fifteen substituted benzaldoxime ethers namely 3, 4-dimethoxy N-O-alkylbenzaldoximes, 3-methoxy-4-ethoxy N-O-alkylbenzaldoximesand5-alkoxyiminomethyl-1, 3-benzodioxoleshave been evaluated for their insect growth inhibition and antifeedant activity against the larvae of Spilosoma obliqua and Achaea Janata. Most of the oxime ethers exhibited eigsificant insect growth inhibition and antifeedant activity.
