Abstract

A field experiment was conducted on persistence of chlorpyrifos in greengram (var. Sarala) and blackgram (var Dhauli) in the rabi season of 1994–95. It was applied @ of 0.5 and 1.0 kg a.i. ha−1 one month after sowing and at pod initiation stage. The safe waiting period of 12 to 15 d in greengram and 11 to 15 d in blackgram respectively is reported.
