The Impact of Nadisodhan Pranayama on Alpha EEG

Abstract

The research paper presents findings of a study about the effect of, Nadisodhan Pranayama (NSP) on Alpha Electroencephalograph (EEG). It is based on a study of twenty students selected from Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar, in the age group of 18 to 25 years through random sampling. Pre-post data was reported before and after intervention of NSP for thirty days by using one group pre-post research design followed in the study. The result showed a significant change as, Nadisodhan Pranayama positively increased the Alpha EEG of the students, at 0.01 level of confidence.
