Maternal health status is considered as an important determinant of the course and present study focuses on prevailing and maternal risk factor of pregnant women of Marathwada region. Total projected 240 respondents were purposively selected for the study from rural area; majority of the women belonged to low income group; very few were graduate in education; vomiting, fatigue and nausea was very common in rural area. Most of them were having loss of appetite, cramps in calf muscle, body ache and sore mouth. Pregnant women from rural area also found, major maternal risk factor was anaemia. Therefore Marathwada region need effective implementation of the timely intervention programme of nutrition and improvement of women.
