Science and religion has been a hot topic for debate or discussion for many centuries. This article attempts to provide an overview about this theme with the help of different literatures. Historical landmarks provide the basic information about the conflict between science and religion. Science proves the truth with the help of experiments and evidence, whereas religion believes in faith and personal experience. The conflicts occur due to opposition or distrust towards the religious writings. It is always open for debate.
