The present study examined the changing pattern of relational orientations among Hindus and Muslims. The data were collected from Indian adult from Araria(Bihar), Varanasi(Uttar Pradesh) and New Delhi(NCR) which represents rural, urban and metro settings of India. Analysis revealed that there was no significant difference in choosing relational orientation strategies in both community. Significant difference between choosing relational orientation strategies was found on the basis of gender, working-nonworking and regions. This study suggests that there is no such thing like communal threat for both the communities and it's a sign of harmonious social environment and social cooperation.
