Loneliness and Marital Satisfaction among Wives of Expatriate Husbands

Loneliness is a complex and usually unpleasant emotional response to isolation or lack of companionship. Marital satisfaction is an individual's subjective evaluation of the marital relationship The present study examined the relationship. between loneliness and marital satisfaction among wives of expatriate husbands. A sample of 267 wives of expatriate husband was selected using snowball sampling technique. Out of 267 data some of the data were incomplete; therefor for the final analysis 243 data were considered. The Couples Satisfaction Index (CSI) and UCLA loneliness scales were administered on the respondents for data collection.
