Abstract

The objective of this study is determine relationship between employee engagement and employee resilience with reference to employees of manufacturing, service and KPO/BPO secters. Employee resilience plays an essential role in competing market and psychological change. Employee engagement was measured with Utrecht Work Engagement Scale Schaufeli and Bakker, 2003. Employee resilience was measured with employee resilience Stephenson et at. 2010. 194 employees from three sectors. Manufacturing, Service and KPO/BPO were taken as a sample. The result showed a significant positive correlation between employee engagement and employee resilience. Employees of BPO sectors were found tobe low in dedication as compared to other sectors.
