The aim of this study is to understand the relationship of meaning in life which refers to people's concerns with the core significance and purpose of their existence with locus of control and satisfaction with life among college students. The sample comprised 300 college students (150 male and 150 female) from some of the districts of Rajasthan, India. The Meaning in Life Questionnaire (MLQ), Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS), and Rotter’s Locus of Control Scale (RLCS) were used in this study. Pearson’s correlation coefficient and t-test were used to analyze the data. A positive correlation was observed between meaning in life and satisfaction with life of college students, while a negative correlation was observed between meaning in life and locus of control. The results showed significant differences in satisfaction with life, but not in experienced meaning in life. The significant difference was obtained in locus of control between male and female participants. The implications, limitations, and suggestion for future research are also highlighted.
