Social reformers ideas on building a New India in India

Abstract

The concept of New India has derived from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led National Democratic Alliance (NDA)’S Central Government of India. This government has launched a "Sankalp se Siddhi" (Attainment through Resolve) scheme in 2017, which aims at good governance and it is a five-year plan under which new India movement from 2017 to 2022 would take place. Moreover, this movement has envisaged that India has to free from poverty, corruption, terrorism, communalism, casteism as well as uncleanliness and unite entire country by adopting good governance as well as using technology for solving these problems. This BJP led NDA Central Government of India has expanded this and adopted a ‘Strategy for New India @ 75 with India's state commitment to United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals. Moreover, this government has defined clear objectives for the 2022–23 under four sections such as (I)Drivers, which focuses on engines of economic performance in macroeconomic terms on growth and employment. (II)Infrastructure, which deals with the physical foundations of growth. (III) Inclusion, which deals with urgent task of investing in the capabilities of all of India's citizens. (IV) Governance, which delves deep into how the tasks and business of government can be streamlined and reformed to achieve better outcomes. All these are also to achieve a New India in India etc. A social reformer is someone who tries to improve a system or law by changing it. Moreover, a social reformer is anyone who advocates for reform of a certain area of society also. However, this article has covered an investigated useful ideas from India's social reformers for building in order to achieve a new India in India for above mentioned six goals purpose.
