Abstract

The attitude of the society towards the third gender of India is very pathetic. After about 1500 years of long-term social and political instability and discriminatory attitude of religions before independence, in the year 1947, for the first time in India, Buddha is emerging as an organized democratic and welfare state. In the situation of the North East, it was hoped that there is a possibility of solving the social and economic disparities prevailing in the Indian society. Throwing light on the situation in the state of Chhattisgarh shows that the outlook of men and women on the third gender is highly condemnable. There is a level of low status of the society which remains. He has been found to be of the third gender only. Like other exploited sections of the society, women also need to start raising their voice to get equal rights as men. The most visible form of gender disparity in Indian society can be seen in social and family life. There is a stark contradiction in the values of Indian society regarding the status of the third gender. If seen theoretically, this love of lemon is believed to bring all kinds of happiness and prosperity. But in practice the third gender rights are also denied to them by social norm rules and laws.
