The flower of the plant Lantana camara were extracted with ethanolic solvents and screened for their analgesic activity. The ethanolic extract of the plant Lantana camara has showed the presence of flavonoids. The analgesic activity of different extracts of Lantana camara flower is evaluated by tail flik methods where the responses are jumping withdrawal of paws and licking of paws. This study demonstrates that flower powder of Lantanacamara has significant analgesic activities.
