The purpose of this study is to analyze the correlation between the patent index and company innovation index in order to examine the effect of the patent index on the company index.
The effect of the patent index on the company innovation index will be examined by attempting the analysis on the relationship with the patent index through the analysis of top 299 companies including the companies which invest much in the innovation in consideration of the company's innovativeness while excluding the size of company.
The patent index was compared with the company innovation index on the basis of the study model which selected the main 4-country family, number of family nations, number of priority, whether or not there is deputy, patent state, and number of inventors as the patent index and analyzed empirically, and as for the effect of the patent index that adopted the bibliographic items that could be used commonly in the patent data of each country on the company innovation index, it was revealed the patent index about the main 4-nation family, number of family nation, number of priority, and patent state were significant.
6 patent indexes in this study are significant in having analyzed the relation with the company innovation index by the indexes that could be drawn regardless of the patent data of each nation.
