In this technological era, most of the population was glued to social network sites, online information from varied sources and micro-blog websites to congregate information on health linked matters.
This paper signifies the case approach regarding e-detailing and its significance in Indian context.
Many healthcare sectors have started using online portals for delivery of products, services and information giving as in the case of filling in records and communicating to their doctors or it could be use of apps where a patient gets registered and interacts with other patients. E-detailing will minimize sales force time, reduce costs and augment the prescribing time of physicians. It also guarantees the trustee relationship with physicians and return on investments with a determined approach to medical interactions.
The intervention of technology in health care has made patients as dynamic participants in delivery process. To gain better outcomes with minimum costs, the innovators are finding the way to implement techniques in e-detailing. Building trust and convenience into the physician relationship may bring effectiveness in e-detailing.
