Abstract

This new series of macrofungal diversity of West Bengal presents six Aphyllophorales taxa herein. Detailed macro and micro-morphological descriptions are given for each species. Species described in the present study includes Phellinus adamantinus (Berk.) Ryvarden, Pyrofomes albomarginatus (Zipp. ex Lév.) Ryvarden, Microporus vernicipes (Berk.) Kuntze, Polyporus grammocephalus Berk, Earliella scabrosa (Pers.) Gilb. & Ryvarden and Flavodon flavus (Klotzsch) Ryvarden.
