Recently, researchers have focused on the synthesis of metal and metal oxide nanoparticles due to their many applications in biological, chemical, pharmaceutical and electronics industries. Magnesium oxide nanoparticles (MgONPs) are one of them and used in pharmaceuticals, adsorption, as catalysts etc. The green synthetic methods using any biomaterials as reducing agents are better than other conventional methods. These methods are generally low cost, effective, efficient and environmentally friendly.
