Knee osteoarthritis is the most common cause of functional limitation and pain in the knee joint which causes huge impact on the humans. The OA of the knee joint mainly affects the active daily living activity of the persons. The previous study suggest that there is marked decrease in the aerobic capacity among the patient with OA knee when compared to people who are not affected by the OA knee. The most common manifestation that is Pain, Muscle weakness due to OA knee may cause decreased physical activity and result in negative health outcome. The OA knee which cause decreased physical activity may lead to many health condition. A female subject with medial knee mild OA aged 46 Years was recruited from the outpatient department of Saveetha Medical College and Hospital. The subject did not had any history or complaint of ligament injury or meniscal injury. The patient was diagnosed based on the radiographic image and on the basis of the clinical criteria. The patient before the Treatment showed Peak RMS value as 40.53mV and the same after the Treatment was recorded as 23.30mV. The patient before the treatment had mean RMS value as 23.95mV after the treatment the patient showed the Mean RMS value as 15.00mV. The NPRS scale revealed the score of 7 out 10 before the Treatment and after 4 weeks of treatment the patient has NPRS score of 3 out of 10. This study clearly reveals in the subject that there is increased muscle activity among the patients with OA knee because to maintain the stability. The patients should be given proper hamstring muscle strengthening exercise to reduce the muscle activity and helps in proper stabilization of the knee joint
