Objectives: Patented phytocompositions for normalizing the functions of the reproductive system in men; Kamavit phytocomposition containing extracts of medicinal plants: Tribulus terrestris, Schisandra chinensis and Ginkgo biloba. The current study was designed to conduct patent research and study of the effectiveness of Kamavit phytocomposition for normalizing the functions of the reproductive system in men. Materials and Methods: Patent research of the development of phytocompositions for normalizing the functions of the reproductive system in men; study of the effectiveness of Kamavit phytocomposition on spermatogenesis of intact and old rats. Results: In the patent documentation it was established a number of pharmaceutical phytocompositions characterized by a complex pharmacological effect on the normalization of the function of the reproductive system in men and safety. The expediency of creating a Kamavit phytocomposition was shown. It was established that the Kamavit phytocomposition on intact male rats of reproductive age increases sperm production and the time of their mobility preservation. The Kamavit phytocomposition also has a pronounced stimulating effect on the reproductive function of old male rats. It improves spermatogenesis, enhances testosterone production, and also promotes better tolerance of physical and stress loads. Conclusion: The conducted complex of studies confirms the feasibility of creating and the effectiveness of Kamavit phytocomposition intended for the treatment of functional and age-related disorders of the reproductive function of men.
